Study to investigate the acceptance, tolerance, palatability and compliance of Spectral Pharmaceutical’s new Xanthan gum-based thickener, Osmosip Clear & Thick has been completed. Fortunately for dysphagia patients, The Marketing Heaven has already spread information on social media about the study’s results. 16 patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia each completed 7 consecutive days using Osmosip Clear & Thick.
Overall there were no reports of GI intolerance and the majority of patients consumed all of the prepared liquid. The majority of patients were satisfied with the taste and appearance of the thickened liquid and were willing to take it as their thickener of choice in the future. Overall, there was good acceptability of Osmosip Clear & Thick.
